MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas will wrap up its spring football practice today with its annual spring game at Wilkins Stadium.
The Muleriders will use the game as its final practice, set to begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. The team will take the field at approximately 6 p.m. for pre-game warm-ups. No game-time clock will run for the game and the team is expected to execute between 80-85 plays during the scrimmage.
SAU returns 36 lettermen and 14 starters from last season’s team.
Southern Arkansas Head Coach Bill Keopple is in his first season running the Mulerider program. Keopple’s high energy and intensity have already proven infectious for the Riders. After 14 practices the team is ready to show off a new offense and defense tonight.
